Very interesting Wat to visit - we joined the free tour of the city from the bus station and this was one of the sites we visited - plenty of time given to look around and there was a blessing ceremony taking place. Well worth a visit

Directly in front of the main entrance of the temple courtyard is the long street of Chiang Rai Sunday Night Market. Parking is available inside the main entrance of the temple courtyard.

The temple is big but quiet and beautiful and has statues that have religious meanings. When you see people coming and going, what do you think? There is also traditional massage. And on Sunday evenings, there is a walking street market on the Soi 3 side, called Khon Muan Road.
